1. Genuine experiences and honest opinions
Reviews should reflect a genuine experience and your own honest opinion. Do not fabricate an experience, review your own business, impersonate a customer, or offer rewards conditioned on a positive rating or removal of criticism. Disclose relevant personal or business connections. Ask customers for honest feedback rather than only inviting satisfied customers.
Write about services you actually received or a genuine attempt to obtain them. Separate facts you personally know from opinion. Do not claim a job was completed if it was not, submit reviews under different identities, purchase fabricated reviews, or present AI-generated experiences as real. An invitation is not proof that work occurred.
2. The same rules for positive and negative reviews
Negative feedback is subject to the same content rules as positive feedback. We may moderate private information, threats, unlawful material, spam or fabricated experiences; disagreement with criticism alone is not grounds for removal. Users may report a review or ask support to reconsider moderation. These terms do not penalize honest reviews or take ownership of them.
Reports should identify the review and a specific rule concern. A business may disagree with a review in a respectful reply, but cannot require its removal as a condition of honoring an existing legal duty. Moderation may consider available records; BidGreat does not promise to investigate every factual disagreement or certify every review.
3. Public content and what labels mean
Your chosen public display name, rating, review text, approved photos and a business's approved reply may be visible publicly. A “Verified BidGreat job” label means our records connect the reviewer's account to a completed job with that provider; it does not independently certify the workmanship, the review's accuracy or every statement in it. Email verification or a past-customer invitation alone does not earn that label. Replies submitted on BidGreat appear on BidGreat; do not assume they are posted to Google or another site.
A review without a verified-job label is not necessarily false; it may describe work arranged elsewhere. Ratings and reviews do not constitute provider screening or background checks. Google and other-site imports are not currently connected.
4. Photos, personal information and replies
Upload only photos that you have the right to share and that relate to your experience. Avoid faces, private documents, precise addresses and access details unless you have appropriate permission. Do not publish threats, unrelated allegations, discriminatory abuse or confidential personal information in a review or reply.
Business replies must accurately represent the replying business and comply with the same conduct rules as reviews. Do not reveal private customer details to discredit a reviewer. A response can acknowledge an issue, explain your perspective or invite appropriate private follow-up without making unsupported accusations.
5. Review sources, ratings and limitations
Reviews of work arranged outside BidGreat can be eligible without a verified-job label. If an external-source feature becomes available, its source, import limits and update behavior must be explained at that feature. An imported review is not automatically a verified BidGreat transaction. External platforms control their own content and authorizations.
Do not assume BidGreat reviews are a complete record of a business's work or representative of every customer. Counts and ratings reflect eligible reviews available to the feature, and may change when reviews are added or moderated. Homepage illustrative ratings are not actual customer reviews. No review score establishes safety, licensing or insurance.
6. Invitations, corrections and complaints
You can decline a review invitation, use its opt-out, or contact support about an incorrect invitation. A provider may not demand a particular rating or threaten you for criticism. Submit only your own experience even when a provider supplies suggested language.
To report an error, request a correction or contest moderation, email [email protected] with the review link and relevant details. We may verify your relationship to the content and preserve records needed for a dispute or legal obligation. These rules do not transfer ownership of your review or restrict reporting to authorities.
