Pros compete for your job
Pros can see the current bids and lower their own price to beat competing offers.
Choose who to hire
Compare price, reviews, availability, and details. Hire whoever you prefer — not necessarily the cheapest.
Compare bids without getting bombarded
Pros bid through BidGreat, not by calling or emailing you. Your contact details are shared after you accept their bid and the pro confirms, or when you approve an in-person visit with them.
Choose with care
Check what’s included, qualifications, and insurance before hiring. BidGreat does not vet pros or guarantee their work.
Common questions
More details in our Terms of Service.
Is posting a job free?
Yes. Posting a job on BidGreat is free, and you're never required to hire anyone.
How do competing bids work?
Pros can see the bids already placed on your job. They can place their own bid or lower an existing bid to compete for your business.
Does the lowest bid automatically win?
No. You choose the pro you want. Compare price, reviews, availability, and the details of each offer before deciding.
Will pros get my phone number or email?
Pros bid through BidGreat, not by calling or emailing you. Your contact details are shared after you accept their bid and the pro confirms, or when you approve an in-person visit with them. Your job details and approximate location are public, so keep contact information and your exact address out of descriptions, photos, and public questions or answers.
Do I have to accept a bid?
No. There is no obligation to accept any bid.
When does bidding end?
Choosing a pro pauses new bidding while they confirm. If they decline or don’t confirm within 24 hours, your job automatically reopens with its existing bids and messages. Bidding ends when the chosen pro confirms or you cancel the job. Individual bids can expire, so check that an offer is still available before choosing.
Can I add photos?
Yes. Photos can help pros understand the work and give you a more accurate bid.
What if a pro needs to see the job first?
They can request an in-person visit. Review the request and any visit fee before accepting. Accepting a visit shares contact details with that pro; it does not hire them for the work.
