Effective date and your agreement
BidGreat LLC operates the marketplace. This version is published prospectively on October 24, 2026; the preserved version records its actual publication/effective timestamp. It applies to new covered activity after your affirmative acceptance. Reading this policy or receiving a notice is not acceptance and authorizes no charge. Paid confirmations begin only when paid billing is activated. Previously fee-waived beta connections and their existing agreements remain protected.
Provider fees and what triggers them
Browsing jobs and submitting bids are free. A BidGreat in-person visit connection costs the pro $10 after express confirmation, with the first eligible visit connection free. The BidGreat job-match fee is 8% of the homeowner-selected option’s fee basis, with no minimum and a maximum of $500. There is no subscription. These are pro-paid platform fees, separate from any service or visit charge the pro quotes to the homeowner. Customer payments for actual services remain directly between customer and pro.
A homeowner selection requires the pro to confirm that exact immutable option revision. Applicable visit connections likewise require express pro confirmation. BidGreat shows the complete fee breakdown and applicable terms before confirmation. If an amount is due, payment must succeed before completing the applicable paid connection or job confirmation. If credits or a waiver fully cover it, express confirmation completes it without a card charge. If the parties are already connected through a visit, the later job-match confirmation does not unlock contact details again. No retroactive fees apply to free-beta visits or jobs.
After eligible paid same-job visit offsets, introductory benefits and credits are applied, BidGreat waives a remaining card amount greater than $0 but less than $0.50. The original platform fee and the small-balance waiver are recorded separately. The remainder is not rounded up, carried forward as a debt, or converted into a refundable or transferable credit.
The $10 BidGreat visit connection fee is earned when the expressly confirmed homeowner connection is successfully provided and the permitted contact details become available. It does not depend on arranging or attending an appointment, completing work, or being hired. A later homeowner cancellation, failure to schedule or decision not to proceed does not automatically entitle the pro to a refund. Our stated exceptions for unauthorized, fraudulent, materially misrepresented or unusable connections, billing errors, failure to provide the promised introduction, and applicable nonwaivable rights still apply.
The selected offer’s calculation basis
Flat price: the accepted total for the stated project. Hourly: rate × estimated hours + disclosed additional flat charges. Range: the midpoint of the quoted minimum and maximum, rounded consistently in cents. Per occurrence: rate × disclosed expected quantity + applicable disclosed flat charges. An indefinite recurring rate is not the total of an unlimited contract.
Each option has its own scope, exclusions, assumptions, availability, price type and calculated basis. Only the selected option counts; it becomes immutable when the homeowner chooses it. The pro confirms that same revision. Hourly/recurring totals remain estimates, and a range midpoint is a platform-fee basis, not a promised service price. Before selection, material changes require a revised offer and renewed homeowner selection. After confirmation, legitimate changes require a separate mutually agreed written amendment to the customer-provider service agreement; the original BidGreat selection and fee basis are not overwritten. BidGreat does not currently provide a change-order editor.
Introductory benefits and credits
One eligible operating business receives one free first visit connection and $200 automatic welcome job-match credits, shared across its authorized accounts. At the approved paid launch, active pro accounts with verified emails qualify automatically using existing account information. No SMS verification or mandatory manual business review is required for ordinary enrollment. Eligible existing providers receive the package regardless of fee-waived beta connections; prior beta visits and jobs do not consume it. Creating another account for an already reliably associated business does not reset its package. Existing phone numbers and other signals may identify possible duplicate accounts for investigation, but unverified suspicions alone do not block ordinary introductory eligibility.
Welcome credits apply automatically only to job-match fees, not standalone visit fees. Make-good account credits may apply to eligible future visit or job-match fees. Credits do not expire through ordinary inactivity and are not cash or transferable payment to another business. Correct duplicate associations or disputed eligibility with support; shared cookies, devices or IP addresses alone are not abuse proof.
An eligible paid visit fee for the same job and pro offsets a later job-match fee first, up to the amount due. Welcome job-match credits then apply automatically, followed by applicable make-good credits. Amount due cannot be negative. Unused visit offset does not produce a cash refund or transferable credit. A refunded visit fee cannot also be used as a paid offset. The confirmation shows every adjustment.
Refunds, corrections and make-good credits
A fee pays for a valid, expressly confirmed visit connection or job match, not guaranteed work or a completed job. A later job match may be confirmed after the parties already connected through a visit. A valid confirmation ordinarily is not refundable merely because someone changes their mind, the job falls through or services are not purchased. This does not remove remedies for an unauthorized or defective transaction or nonwaivable rights.
Report potentially fraudulent, unauthorized, materially misrepresented or unusable connections and billing mistakes to [email protected]. We review available records and may ask each party for relevant information; a single report is not an automatic fault or fraud finding. Do not send full card numbers or unnecessary identity documents.
We correct billing errors and failures to deliver the promised introduction with an appropriate remedy. Paid amounts are refunded when required or appropriate under applicable law and payment rules; a discretionary make-good credit is not a substitute for a legally required refund. Any approved restoration of previously used promotional or account credits is recorded separately and cannot also duplicate a paid refund or offset. Goodwill make-good credits remain discretionary.
The outcome identifies the paid amount refunded, any credit restored or granted, and why. Bank/payment processing may affect when an approved refund appears. Support cannot cancel statutory payment-dispute rights, issuer rights, legal deadlines or access to a competent court or regulator.
Claims, disputes and account closure
Email [email protected] with your account, relevant job/connection or transaction identifier, date, concern and requested resolution. Keep relevant receipts and agreement records. We may request proportionate evidence and provide an explanation; ask for reconsideration if facts were missed. Contact support promptly, but this process creates no shortened contractual deadline or mandatory waiting period before lawful claims or urgent relief.
Closing an account stops new participation; it does not erase completed agreements, required financial records or valid outstanding obligations, create an automatic fee refund, or transfer credits. We preserve eligible balances through ordinary inactivity; contact support about lawful reopening or handling an erroneous closure. Mandatory refund and property rights remain protected. Necessary records may be retained under the Privacy Notice and legal obligations.
The Terms of Service govern applicable law and dispute procedures, including preserved nonwaivable rights. Customer-provider service disputes are separate from BidGreat platform-fee claims. Nothing here imposes arbitration, a class-action waiver, automatic off-platform fines, or an adverse finding based solely on missing bids.
Short examples
A selected $45 flat option has a $3.60 job-match fee before credits. A selected $660 hourly estimate has a $52.80 fee before offsets and credits. A $1,000–$3,000 range uses a $2,000 midpoint and a $160 fee. A selected $10,000 total reaches the $500 cap.
If a valid $10 paid same-job visit is followed by a $160 job-match fee, the paid visit offset reduces it to $150 before eligible welcome and make-good credits. No charge is collected if eligible credits cover the remaining amount. The first-free-visit benefit is separate from the $200 welcome job-match credits.
